From November 3 to 5, our team will be at Booth V19732 in the Taiwan Pavilion, Venetian Expo, Las Vegas, to meet aftermarket distributors, importers and engineers looking for a cast iron development and machining partner in Taiwan.

What we're bringing
Our main focus at the show is cast iron flywheels for the commercial vehicle aftermarket. We'll also have samples on the booth.
Starting from a sample, not a drawing
Many aftermarket projects begin with a worn part and no documentation. Here's how we take a sample to production:
- Reverse engineering. We build a 3D model from the physical part.
- Material confirmation. Hardness testing and metallography tell us whether the original is grey or ductile iron before we choose the grade.
- Casting simulation. We run it before the pattern is finalized, so shrinkage risk at thick sections is addressed in design rather than in the first batch.
- First article inspection. Parts are measured on CMM and shipped with a material certificate and a dimensional inspection report.
Why casting and machining under one group matters
SHIN LI and Royal Metal Casting Co., Ltd. belong to the same group in Chiayi, Taiwan. The foundry pours the part; SHIN LI handles CNC machining, surface treatment, assembly and export. When a machining datum conflicts with the parting line, or a wall section is hard to fill, both teams review it together during development.
Every melt is checked by spectrometer on a test coupon. Finished parts go through hardness, tensile and microstructure checks as required, with dimensional verification on CMM. We operate under an ISO 9001 quality management system.
